Viral Texas Tech cheerleader from Augusta Masters started receiving marriage proposals after her mom
A Texas Tech cheerleader, Aaliyah Kikumoto, went viral on TikTok while attending the 87th Masters with her father. A TikTok account posted a video of her in the background of Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka at the 16th tee box at the Augusta National, giving her around 15 seconds of screentime.
Capturing that moment, a TikTok account posted that moment on the app with the caption, “This made the Masters 10 times better.” The TikTok account, Double Bogeys, crossed over 2.8 million views over the Masters weekend following this video.
However, after her viral moment, Aaliyah now receives marriage offers from interested men. Aaliyah Kikumoto speaks about her life post Masters viral moment
It would be fair to say the Masters viral moment positively impacted Aaliyah Kikumoto’s life. A grad student and a cheerleader, Kikumoto is a Denver native who is also part of the Texas Tech Raiders’ Pom Pom Squad. The Raiders alumni have gone forward to cheer for leading franchises in the United States, such as Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Houston Texans, New York Jets, and Kansas City Chiefs.
Following this incident, Kikumoto now has 47.4k followers on Instagram and has also landed a modeling job. She says, “It’s something I wanted at some point to grow my brand and be a positive influence for good. While all this is unfolding I’m still trying to do homework, study for exams, Pom commitments, and other things.”
The video has crossed over 6.2 million views and currently stands with 372k likes which is ever-increasing. As much as the Masters 2023 was a treat for the fans, so was this viral moment for several young men who have been gushing over Aaliyah Kikumoto’s brief 15-second accidental cameo.
