Paige Spiranac compliments Nelly Kordas amazing look at 2024 Met Gala

The 2024 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday once again saw celebrities rock up their fashion game. Several sports stars including LPGA star Nelly Korda attended this iconic event. The golf star’s appearance and looks at this event has earned praises from Paige Spiranac.

The Women’s World No.1 golfer was spotted wearing a red floral dress. As per reports this was designed by renowned designer, Oscar de la Renta. She would top it off with a beautiful necklace.

As her appearance at this iconic event sent the golf world into frenzy mode, Spiranac would give her nod to Korda. Taking to her X account, the golf influencer complimented Korda’s looks and claimed she looked “amazing“.

Nelly Korda also went on to script history. She became the first LPGA Tour star to make an appearance at the Met Gala event. She though is not the first golfer to attend it. Golf great Tiger Woods was seen attending this event in 2013 alongside his then girlfriend and alpine ski legend, Lindsey Vonn.

The 25-year-old golf star will now turn her attention to Cognizant Founders Cup in New Jersey. Another victory here would see Korda continue her red-hot form and claim a sixth straight victory on the LPGA Tour.

As Nelly Korda sets her eyes on achieving a historic record (winning six straight events), her form has drawn applause from several golfers. After the two-time women’s major champion claimed her fifth successive win, Paige Spiranac expressed her wish to see her (Korda) face off against Scottie Scheffler.

Just like Korda, Scottie Scheffler has been dominating on the PGA Tour. The World No.1 has four wins including the 2024 Masters title and one runners-up finish in his previous five starts. Thus many including Spiranac are hoping to see a match up between the two top golfers.

The reason for this is because he and his wife, Meredith are awaiting the birth of their first child. It thus remains to be seen when will he return to the greens.
