Disciples Coffee Roasters held a fundraiser on Saturday, in honor of fallen Deputy Tobin Bolter.

Ada County Deputy Tobin Bolter was shot and killed in the line of duty on Saturday, April 20, while conducting a traffic stop.

27-year-old Deputy Bolter was an officer for seven years and had been with the Ada County Sheriff's Office since January, he had served with the Meridian Police Department and Pleasant Hill Police Department.

Deputy Bolter is the first Ada County Sheriff's Deputy to be killed in the line of duty according to the ACSO.

Ada County Sheriff Matt Clifford talked about Deputy Bolter’s smile at the Star candlelight vigil that was held on Monday night. He said Deputy Bolter was “so happy to serve the community.”

Sheriff Clifford said, “We are angry, confused, and we are sad. However, the showing of support from the public has given us so much hope.”

Disciples Coffee is hoping this will be a time for fellowship and healing for the community.

Their goal is to make so many drinks they have to shut down their espresso machine.

Disciples Coffee says it raised $25,000 at the fundraiser thanks to everyone who participated today.

All proceeds will go directly to Bolter's wife.
