A suspect accused of battery at a June 30 protest outside City Hall has turned himself into authorities.

Boise Police says 56-year-old Robbie Ciolli was booked into the Ada County Jail earlier Monday on misdemeanor battery.

"As we have previously stated, officers have investigated several videos and other pieces of evidence following the protest on June 30," Boise Police said in a news release. "Idaho law now requires officers to seek arrest warrants before making physical custody arrests for certain misdemeanor crimes not committed in their presence, unless there is a person willing to make a “citizens’ arrest.”

After the protests, Boise Police released three still images of suspects from the protest asking the public's help to identify.

Online jail records state Ciolli is no longer at the jail.
